New Zealand River Survey
Andy England is currently performing a survey to compile data on how people use the rivers of New Zealand's West Coast, and how they feel about the rivers they paddle. This data will be used by decision makers when development projects are being considered. The survey is only open until August 12, so if you've been to NZ surf on over to Andy's Blog and give a few minutes of your time to help him out, your time could help keep your favorite river free flowing for you and others to enjoy in the future. |

Bliss-Stick.ca est finalement disponible dans les deux langues officiel. Si vous voulez changer la langue just cliquez sur les drapeaux qui se trouve à la droit du site. Nous faisons toute les effort a s'assurer que les details sont correct tous par tous dans la site et que les liens fonctionne proprement, mais c'est encore possible qu'il y a des petits erreurs ici ou là. Callaghan Creek Festival and Extreme Race
Whistler is the place to be July 24th, head to the coast for the inaugural Callaghan Creek festival. With a goal of raising awareness of the pressures Hydro development is putting on BC's creeks and rivers it also boasts an extreme race and what promises to be a rocking shindig once the paddling is done. All proceeds will be donated to the BC Creek Protection Society and American Whitewater. Unfortunately Bliss-Stick.ca isn't able to make an appearance at this event this year but we are still very proud to be supporting it. For more details check out callaghanfest.org. |

Podium Time in Colorado and Italy
Bliss-Stick fared quite well recently in Colorado at the Teva Mountain games, followed shortly by more podium time in Italy at the Teva Outdoor Extreme Games. The boys all put on amazing performances with great success, check out Bliss-Stick.com for the full story. Shiny New Kayaks in Stock
The spring container has arrived! After a short delay in customs in Vancouver the kayaks were good to go and have now arrived in Jasper where they eagerly await thier lives on the river. The boats belonging to the lucky paddlers who pre-orderded have been sent out and are riding the bus to their new homes as you read this. For the rest of you out there, order early for the best model and color selection. If you'd like to purchase a kayak or have any questions contact us and we'll sort out the details or pass along some info. |
